I am so grateful that my two year old is able to articulate her feelings, for example ?Mommy I feel frustrated. You are not listening to me. I want to play inside, not outside.? Of course five minutes later she bites her brother totally unprovoked but still I am glad to see this hard work paying off in bits and pieces!

I am grateful to a colleague with whom I often clash.  Even though I?m the one who behaved unprofessionally at the meeting, it was she who extended the olive branch.  It has made me see her in a totally different light.
